Titus Tommy Gunn: La peneratica svavolya
04/05/10 || Kampfar
The Titus fronting this band is the same Titus found doing vocals and bass in Acid Drinkers. I never laid ears upon second mentioned band, I think, but I do know them to be Polish and quite well renowned. Hell, some even claim them to one of the most important bands in Polish thrash and heavy metal music. At least the dude responsible for the entry on Wikipedia – the English version – did.
Claim chlamydia, fuck off and die, here is my the review on Titus Tommy Gunn and their “La peneratica svavolya”.
Roughly put we are dealing with a mix of Accept and Motörhead here. Make that very. The former band is not so good, the latter very much so, but even though vocals resembling Dirkschneider are to be heard a proper scatfest this album ain’t. It sounds downright good, the bass in particular, and that same instrument is for sure performed on by a skilled individual. I happen to be a sucker for bass done loud and proud, fuck your hamster, and I also suck cock for solos done by passionate individuals possessing a clue or two. Then again, I wouldn’t let this bunch of Poles gangbang me in the face, that because here is entirely too much drivel and questionable vocal work going on.
I guess you should check this band out if party rock with balls sounds teasing to you. Forget that I mentioned Motörhead, think Lordi meets Accept instead.
